Understand the basics of image acquisition Work with different techniques for image processing (image to image transformations) Work with different techniques for image analysis requiring extraction of information from images Develop their own image processing programs and algorithms Develop customized prototype image processing applications for computer/machine vision systems Interlabs provides integrated image analysis and processing solutions comprising: Lighting CCD cameras Relevant frame grabbers – as per the requirements of the faculty Image processing/analysis software and libraries Or an integrated, stand-alone system The lab can also be customized as per the requirements of the faculty or for a specific application.
